WHAT’S MY SIZE? FIND THE RIGHT BIKE SIZE

When ordering a bike online, it is really important to choose the right size bike for you. The most accurate way to do this will be to get a professional frame sizing with us. If you are not local to Velosport and do not have a bike fitter near you, the next best way is to use the What’s My Size size calculator on our website. All you have to do is follow the on screen instructions on bike type, height, arm and inside leg length (don’t worry if you don’t know these, What’s My Size will give you an average), and What’s My Size will tell you the right size bike for the model you are looking at.

Step 1 – Navigate to velosport.co.uk and choose a bike that you would like to look at. Click the ‘What’s my size’ button.

Step 2 – Choose the type of bike you are trying to find a size for. For this example the bike is a Ridley Noah Fast which is a road bike, so I would press the ‘Road’ block.

Step 3 – Enter gender and add your height. It will appear in cm as standard, but you can switch to imperial measurements if you would prefer.

Step 4 – Now you will need to add your leg length. What’s my size uses an average length for the height you entered as default, but it would be best to measure this yourself to get a more accurate size. Clicking on the ‘?’ button will show you how to measure.

Step 5 – This step you will need to measure your arm length. Like the previous step, What’s my size will will give you a default measurement. We would recommend measuring this yourself for a more accurate sizing.

Step 6 – This step is where you choose the style of riding is most suited to you. Sportive is the most aggressive bike position, and comfortable is the most upright.

And that is it. What’s my size will give you a size based on the information that you put in the previous steps.

We hope that this article has explained how the ‘What’s my size’ function works. This is a great tool in helping determine what size bike would work best for you.
